Journal: February 8th 2021

It is a good day for me. I woke up at 5.30, which is an achievement !!!!. I slept at 1.30 am, so I need some coffee to be active. Today, I understand more that coffee is a real catalisator of human achievments. It gives us focus that we need. Although it has bad effect in long terms, somehow humans always find its way to keep live long. Coffee help people think, and thinking people help people to solve problems as this coffee problem, lol.

Today, I had a lot of questions for my professor. But, I didn’t express it at all. When I want to express it, there are these thoughts come over my head: “you can find it by your own in books and google”. These thought are toxic, but true. For years, I feel that I got more knowledge and better understanding from the non-class material. As I read more, I believe either that other people understanding and knowledge often time has been wrapped up in a really good sentence that will make you learn a lot faster. This arrogant mindset is eating my life.

This arrogant mindset often time came in many opportunities to grow. This arrogant mindset oftentimes just befriend with fears, made me not the savage brave guy. Asking in class have to be the starting point of a lot of “asking” that I will do in the rest of my life. So, this arrogant mindset have to be coupled by the don’t care with anything mindset, just fulfill you curiosities!!!.

Well, today is an improvement from yesterday. And I just knew some new fun things that I can do too. Today I learned about Gaussian Principles, which are really bizzarre and need a lot of reading involved more (it was soooooooo abstraccctt). Well I know the point tho. If a conductor is an object, the charged particles will be pushed to the surface and make them become a charged object from outside world, but of course not from inside hence it is basically r ==== 0.

In Chemistry class, my prof asked question to one of the student. He opened his mic, but he was laughing. My prof ask him siriously, he answer with “yes” but followed up by laughs. Weird. Then my prof suddenly kicked him from the room. “You have to be sirious in this class, although it is online you have to be focused” told by my prof.

Well in Basic Programming, we learned functional-oriented programming. using heskell we create functions rather than variables. We dont assign variables, we create functions that the computer vaguely execute. It is efficient in memory, but not in human labor. What was more fun today is that I learned this structure of creating a program: DEFINITION and REQUIREMENTS -> REALIZATION -> APPLICATION. It is cool that there are people carved some rules so that software engineering developments can be so fluid as today.

This night, I was talking about a business competition with my friends either, it was really fun lol. And this morning I develop a new learning method of programming. Watch tutorial, understand them, write the structure of the codes in a paper, then write the code. It is not really good. But my feeling of guilty being a copy-paste guy was reducing. I felt this method give myself a sense that I did it by myself although I didn’t really. But it is better increasing one percent a day then decreasing 0.1 percent a day. it is trueeee.

Well, tomorrow have to be more fun and more productive. My arrogant mindset have to have friend curiosity mindset. And I can’t wait to write to you again my journnaaal.. I think that I nickname for you. How about Triss? because you listen as Triss do.
