Champions League 2022 Final in Paris is a hell. Thousands of Liverpool and Madrid fans were waiting outside without any progress. They can’t enjoy Camilla Cabello performance properly and for some of the fans, they can’t even watch the match. France’s interior minister blame the industrial scale fake tickets, making things out of control.

When creating an event, we cant neglect ticketing system. Ticket itself come from the idea of limiting access. When we want an event to be accessed by limited amount of people (due to preconditions we imposed) we will use ticket to authorize their access to our event.

The ticket can be formed in many ways. It can be printed paper, QR codes, unique number, or even participant’s name. We can choose them based on multiple tradeoffs, like counts of participants, counts of official, technology we can afford, area for ticket authorization, and any other event-related things.

Lifetime of a ticket

My interpretation of ticket lifetime

To generate a ticket, the events authority should release it. The form of the tickets can be unintuitively virtual: contracts between the authority and ticket distributor about how many tickets they can sell and which ticket ids that can be distribute by that distributor. Or a simple physical form, that has an authorized seal on its paper.

Problem around me

In May 2022, Allo Bank Festival is held. It is a festival hosted by Allo Bank, a new digital bank, to increase number of their app customer. It exhibit high names Korean boy and girl band, multiple legendary musician, and famous artists. They sell the tickets for only 50k rupiahs (approximately 3.5$).
